A time for celebration
May is the start of wedding season, the time for glamorous poolside soirees and gala dinners. We at WTM are celebrating this special season with a consumer report on evening gowns and wedding dresses as well as a fashion shoot featuring our international wedding belles.

In our main interview, we speak with Nash Reed, a South African singer who has been performing in Bahrain since last November and whose new CD is now hitting the island’s radio waves.

This month’s report brings you plenty of inspiration through the story of Batool, who recently took her first steps since ending up in a wheelchair 25 years ago. Her optimism and dedication is an example to us all.

It’s that time of year where constant sunshine is pretty much a given on the island. Go out and take advantage of the lovely weather! Try roaming the desert in Saar on horseback (there are plenty of stables to borrow horses from). Or hit the ocean for some snorkelling, sailing or dolphin watching. Or simply take a walk along the Al Fateh Corniche. Whatever your preference, I hope you get up from behind your desk or leave the confines of your home and enjoy the sunshine!
