Amwaj Islands Hosts Walkathon Amwaj Islands played host to the first Annual Shoe Mart Walkathon at the Island's Beach Club last month. Hundreds of walkers took part in the event that was held on World Down Syndrome Day and aimed to raise funds for the Bahrain Down Syndrome Society and other charities.
